An IoT operations platform

Connected Operations, From Field to Freight

One platform tying physical sensors to operational and financial software, spanning greenhouse growing operations and cold-chain freight, so problems surface before they cost.

The challenge

A business running both greenhouse growing operations and cold-chain freight needed real control over each, and a way to see them as one. On the growing side that meant allocating lots, projecting the P&L, and keeping inventory honest. On the logistics side it meant watching freight in real time and catching a problem before it spoiled a shipment. The common thread across both: physical conditions the software could not see on its own.

What we built

A platform that ties physical sensors to the operational and financial software around them.

On the greenhouse side: lot allocation, inventory management, and P&L projection, with sensor-driven warnings on the product itself, so a drift in conditions raises a flag before it turns into a loss.

On the cold-chain side: real-time visibility of freight in transit on the same sensor-and-warning backbone, so a temperature or condition excursion alerts the right people while the shipment is still on the road, not once it has already arrived.

The result

  • Live operational visibility from the greenhouse floor to freight in transit
  • Sensor warnings that surface problems early, while they are still cheap to fix
  • One system across operations and finance, from lot allocation and inventory to P&L
  • A shared sensor-and-alert foundation reused across two very different domains
