Where are you based, and do you work remotely?
Atlantic Forge is based in Portugal and works remotely with teams around the world. Most projects run entirely remote, across time zones.
What does on-premise AI mean, and why does it matter?
It means the AI models run on your own hardware or private infrastructure, with no calls to a third-party API. Your data never leaves your environment, costs stay predictable, and you are never locked to one supplier. Or take a hybrid approach: some models run on your own hardware, others on cloud GPUs in accounts you control. Either way, your data never flows through third-party AI APIs.
What kinds of projects do you take on?
Everything from a single marketing page to large, complex systems. Our work spans AI/ML, software engineering, internal tools and automation, 3D and interactive web, design, and infrastructure.
How do engagements and pricing work?
We start with a short call to understand the goal, then scope it together and share a clear proposal. Each project is covered by a separate written agreement, and sending an enquiry does not commit you to anything.
What is your technology stack?
We stay largely technology-agnostic. We start from your needs, then choose what fits best. We work with TypeScript across the stack, with Vue/Nuxt, React/Next or Astro on the front end, Python/Django, or Rust on the back end, GraphQL for APIs, and Cloudflare for edge and serverless. For AI, we run local models with tools like Ollama.
Can you work with our existing team and codebase?
Yes. We take on feature work inside existing codebases, review architecture and code, and mentor teams. We are comfortable joining an existing project, not only greenfield builds.
How quickly will you reply?
We read every serious enquiry ourselves and usually reply within three business days.

We work in English, and can also work in Portuguese.
