An OB/GYN Clinic, Built for Local Search
A calm, accessible website for an obstetrics and gynaecology clinic in Montijo, engineered to rank for local searches and earn patient trust.
The challenge
Fetogin is an obstetrics and gynaecology clinic in Montijo. They needed a website that does two things at once: reassure patients with a calm, professional presence, and rank for the local searches that actually bring people through the door, like “ginecologista Montijo”. No booking system, no patient portal, just trust and findability.
What we built
A prerendered static site in Astro and Tailwind, in European Portuguese, across four focused pages: home, the medical team, contacts, and clinic news. The visual identity grows out of the clinic’s own mint and seafoam logo, paired with an editorial serif for warmth, and every colour meets WCAG AA contrast. Local SEO is built into the foundation: MedicalClinic and Physician structured data, per-page Portuguese titles and meta, a generated sitemap, and semantic, mobile-first markup. Content lives in Markdown, so the clinic can update doctors, hours, and news without touching code.
